USIBC, CII, US Chamber of Commerce join Celebrate Innovation

- International Experts to Convene in Mumbai for Global Summit

Washington (ANTARA News/PRNewswire-AsiaNet) - The U.S.-India Business Council (USIBC), in partnership with the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, will convene business leaders from around the world to participate in the 2nd Annual Global Forum on Innovation, Creativity, and Intellectual Property to be held in Mumbai, India on February 26-27, 2008, at the Hyatt Regency Hotel.

The Forum will provide a global stage for senior government officials and business leaders to discuss current trends and to celebrate innovation and creativity, while exchanging best practices and developing solutions to protect intellectual property and publicize new initiatives.

Senior officials hailing from all continents, including the nations of China, Brazil, Japan, the European Union, Russia, Nigeria, Mexico, and many others, will join with Indian and American colleagues to discuss cutting-edge strategies to enhance innovation and harden the protections for intellectual property across all sectors. Luminaries from the Life Sciences, Entertainment and from the Information Technologies sectors will provide vital input to the deliberations. This is the second such Global Conference organized under the auspices of the Global Intellectual Property Coalition supported by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce of Washington, D.C.
